Abstract Nowadays, the soar of costs in American Universities affairs has led to medium and lowincome families cannot afford their childrens tuition fee, and many families have to bear heavy debt. However, today, American economy and market forces people to pursue higher education experience. This paper introduces the federal governments new measures on financial aid policies, discusses how does the government help the lowincome students go to university based on reviewing the policies the government has made.
