Abstract The ideal university depends on the ideal society, which is the direction that we are pursuing. But the real university can become one that focuses on the efficiency of school running, pursues tranquility and order, emphasizes the achievements of talent cultivation, embodies harmony and democracy, and promotes social service. Accordingly, we should let the university open to the market, and give the university president autonomy to manage by law, and let the distinguished free compete for faculty posts, and let the academic be tested in the social market.
