Abstract:As one of the important ways to open higher education to the outside world, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools has a direct impact on the discipline layout, the construction of international teaching staff, the cultivation of international talents, the collaborative innovation of scientific research, and the construction of the internal governance and quality assurance system in "Double First-Class" initiative. China should adhere to the construction tasks and requirements of "Double First-Class" in the new era, and put Sino-foreign cooperative education in a higher position. It includes the following aspects: improving the matching degree of subject setup in cooperative schoolrunning and focusing on the key points of first-class subject construction; strengthening the introduction of overseas high-quality talents and building a high-level international teaching staff; conforming to international standards, improving the quality assurance system and laying the foundation for the training of international first-class talents; taking the platform of scientific research collaborative innovation as the carrier and effectively enhancing the scientific and technological innovation ability of universities; scientifically defining the standard of high-quality educational resources and paying attention to the integration and innovation of Chinese and foreign resources.
